PI97589: CQM 3.3 ROLLUP APAR #5

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• 1. Order of records was not preserved after pressing Enter on
  Current Activity panel in data sharing view.
  2. In Data sharing mode after pressing Enter the data on panels
  corresponding to D-Delay/L-Locks/Q-Misc/B-Buff became the
  summary of the data from all data sharing members.
  3. Abend S0C4-0000003B happened on Exceptions panel in ISPF
  after restarting Query Monitor started task.
  4. When parent thread had only SQL call PREPARE, thread
  unexpectedly showed N in PARALLEL column in Current Activity and
  Exceptions panels.
  5. Cursor position was not saved in Exceptions in Data sharing
  view.
  6. H letter did not disappear on Call Level Statistics panel if
  Host Vars were not collected and CQM103I was displayed.
  7. CQM$SU8K and CQM$OBJ8 panels had different representation of
  HitRatio column.
  8. CQMUDFHV User Defined Function, which was used in CAE to
  display Archive data, did not recognize host variable type
  VARGRAPHIC.
  9. Eliminate confusion, what "DB2 QM Subsystem ID" and "DB2
  QM Subsystem" meant - Db2 ssid or CQM subsystem.
  10. Information cut in column REQ SITE on 'Current Activity'
  and 'Exceptions' panels for SQLs with 3-part names.
  11. "Description" column in panel Calls does not have help.
  12. Internal CQM abend SOC4-003A in program:CQMMEXXX+046AC for
  some
  commit statements caused missing/incorrect information for this
  commit in the interface. Also can result in Orphaned Exception
  Blocks causing CQM12* series messages.
  13. Some threads may not be displayed or the values for them
  may be wrong in Current Activity after installing DB2 V12 FL506
  level.
  14. Call type panel displayed as Unknown SQL type: CREATE
  TRUSTED CONTEXT, ALTER TRUSTED CONTEXT, DROP TRUSTED CONTEXT.
  15. Length of LOB host variables became negative if size of
  object was more than 32Kb.
  16. In some cases CAE Web Browser showed DECLARE H VARIABLE as
  detail SQL text for COMMIT short SQL text.
  This issue can happen if a customer collects data with calls
  OPTKEY turned off. In this case SQL text can be showed
  incorrectly on SQL Text tab and in Description column for CALL
  drill-down.
  17. Help for SP Application Elapsed Time was not clear in ISPF.
  18. On the web interface of Db2 Query Monitor v3.3, users can
  sort the columns, but it works incorrectly for Archive
  Connection source on Exceptions drill-down of Summaries
  perspective.

Problem conclusion

• Logic was updated and behavior with the fix is the next:
  1. Order of records is kept in the same way as in single mode.
  2. In data sharing view the data on panels corresponding to
  D-Delay/L-Locks/Q-Misc/B-Buff is not changed after pressing
  Enter.
  3. Abend S0C4-0000003B on Exceptions panel is fixed.
  4. When parent thread has only SQL call PREPARE, thread shows
  correctly P(parent) in PARALLEL column in Current Activity and
  Exceptions panels.
  5. Cursor position is kept to the last called line in Exceptions
   in Data sharing view.
  6. Pressing Enter causes letter 'H' to disappear in CMD line
  before displaying message CQM103I.
  7. Both CQM$SU8K and CQM$OBJ8 panels have number with '%' sign
  at the end and have 9 characters' length. "Hit Ratio" is written
   as two words.
  8. CQMUDFHV User Defined Function, which is used in CAE to
  display Archive data, recognizes host variable type VARGRAPHIC.
  9. "DB2 QM Subsystem ID" is renamed to "Target" on panel
  CQM$MAIN, "DB2 QM Subsystem" is renamed to "QM Subsystem" on
  other ISPF panels and messages.
  10. Column REQ SITE on 'Current Activity' and 'Exceptions'
  panels display full information for SQLs with 3-part names.
  11. The help text for "Description" column in panel Calls is
  created.
  12. Some kinds of commits can not have long REQ SITE data, so
  only short 16 bytes information is displayed for them in column
  REQ SITE on 'Current Activity' and 'Exceptions' panels.
  13. The logic was updated to support the changes of DB2 V12
  FL506 level.
  14. CREATE TRUSTED CONTEXT, ALTER TRUSTED CONTEXT, DROP TRUSTED
  CONTEXT are recognized correctly.
  15. ISPF and CAE Web Client show correct host variables values'
  length which can be up to 65525.
  16. CAE logic was changed to find detail SQL text correctly.
  17. Help for
  'SP Application Elapsed Time" was updated in ISPF.
  18. Sorting of 'Delay' and 'Delay Count' columns in Exceptions
  perspective was corrected for Archive Connection source.
