Error description

• On a COLLECT, the data entered in the IMS_TRAN_* tables, the
  TRANSACTION_NAME is $MISSING, PROGRAM_NAME is $MISSING, and
  TRANSACTIONS are '0'.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• ****************************************************************

  *                 the Transaction Transit Time sub-component.  *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The TRANSACTIONS column in the IMS      *
  *                      tran tables is not getting the correct  *
  *                      value.                                  *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  The DB2 IMS TRAN and SYSTRAN tables contained entries
  (rows) where the RESPONSE_SEC was greater than zero but the
  TRANSACTION count was zero.
  

Problem conclusion

• Outbound response transactions were incorrectly being added
  to the IMS TRAN and SYSTRAN tables. These transactions are
  system generated and should not be counted in the IMS TRAN and
  SYSTRAN tables.
