PI96912: CMSVC EXIT LIBRARY CAUSES INTERMITTENT LAUNCHER CRASH AND DOES NOT CREATE UNIQUE *SESSION.TMP / *SESSION.XML FILE NAMES

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Trading Manager cmsvc exit library causes intermittent
  Launcher crash and does not create unique file names for the
  .tmp files and session.xml files when multi-threading maps
  calling the exit.
  

Local fix

  Circumvention: Single threading Trading Manager
  stampandsortfile, sortx12 and sendx12 maps reduces the
  frequency of the Launcher crashes.

  cmsvc exit library was not always creating unique file names for
  the .tmp files and session.xml files, nor was it checking that
  file open was successful before writing, causing intermittent
  crashes.

Problem conclusion

• cmsvc library updated to use the mapinstance value passed in
  exitparm from tx core to ensure unique names are generated,
  appending this value to the existing naming structure. Also,
  error checking added in the code to not attempt to write to file
  if the open was not successful
  
  Applies to:
  TMGR IP 8.2.1.11
  
  Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
