When a filter is provided to SCIM on either the user or
group
URL, SCIM will return a 500 HTTP status code (Internal
Server
Error) instead of a 400 HTTP status code (Bad request).

When a client passes an invalid filter to the SCIM REST API
exposed by the scim-1.0 feature, they receive an HTTP 500 status
code instead of the HTTP 400 status code mandated by the SCIM-
1.0 specification for such a case.

Problem conclusion

The code was updated to handle possible filter errors and to
return back an HTTP code of 400 instead of 500.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 18.0.0.2.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
