APAR status

Error description

  • In Report Studio, on edit mode, changes in Options are not saved
    even on the same session. It happens on IE, Firefox, Chrome.
    Problem can be recreated locally.
    
    Options and preferences are not being preserved between portal
    items or exiting from the portal.
    Issue occurs under IE, FireFox and Chrome
    Scenario 1  Set Report Studio options and open another report
    1.     Open portal
    2.     Edit report
    3.     Set Options by clicking More icon on header toolbar and
    select Options
    4.     Click OK or Apply
    5.     Re-open Welcome view
    6.     Edit another report
    7.     Open options as before
    Options have not been updated from previous update in original
    report.
    1.     Click Sign out and log out
    2.     Open portal and edit a report
    3.     Open Options
    Options have been preserved from original options change
    
    Scenario 2  close browser without sign out
    1.     Open portal
    2.     Edit report
    3.     Set options
    4.     Click OK or Apply
    5.     Close browser without Sign out
    6.     Open portal and edit a report
    7.     Open Options
    Options have not been preserved. Closing the browser without
    logging out does not save any changes.
    
    Scenario 3  Visual aids preferences not saved
    Any changes to Visual aids in Report Studio are not being
    preserved as in v10.2.2
    1.     Open a report
    2.     Change visual aids option
    3.     Save report
    4.     Open report
    Visual aids changes have not been saved
