PI96423: POSSIBLE ALAA540E ERROR WHEN PARSING THE MODEPARM FILE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If the "USE FAST BACKUP DURING CONTINUOUS MODE" parameter was
  not updated in the User Settings Panel and new JCL generated,
  an ALAA540E error could be encountered when parsing the
  MODEPARM file during the batch execution of DB2 Log Analysis
  Tool. The User Settings Panel will supply a default value
  of 'Y' for this parameter; however if the User Settings panel
  was not visited, then this parameter will be blank which
  causes the error. This APAR will also add the help information
  for the parameter to the ISPF online help panel.
