APAR status

Error description

• The SDSF address space uses the console ID associated with the
  START command for SDSF to issue the START and STOP commandsfor
  the SDSFAUX address space. Because the console ID that issued
  the start command may have been deactivated, security
  information can be cleaned up.  If the security information is
  not available, MVS will only allow an authority level of INFO
  and the IEE345I STOP AUTHORITY INVALID, FAILED BY MVS message is
  issued.

      The SDSF address space uses the console ID associated with
  the START command for SDSF to issue the START and STOP commands
  for the SDSFAUX address space.  Because the console ID that
  issued the start command may have been deactivated by the time
  the server is being stopped, the security information associated
  with the console may not be present.
  
     When the security information is not present, the console
  will have INFO authority which is insufficient to issue the STOP
  command.  This causes the IEE345I STOP AUTHORITY INVALID,
  FAILED BY MVS message to be issued and the SDSFAUX address space
  is not stopped.
  

Problem conclusion

• The SDSF server code has been updated to use the same
  console that issued the STOP SDSF command to stop the SDSFAUX
  address space.
