Error description

• Receiving following error while trying to access the
  application via an iPlanet webserver:
  
  [17/Mar/2018:08:15:41] failure (23024): for host 10.19.204.3
  trying to GET /, func_exec reports: HTTP2302: Function
  as_handler aborted the request without setting the status code.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  The WebSphere Application Server plugin for Oracle iPlanet
  (formerly Sun Java System and Sun One) web server may set the
  incorrect return code.
  

Problem conclusion

• In cases where the plugin configuration is not found or the
  host header is not set in the request, plugin returned a
  failure error code without setting the status code. Instead of
  returning a permanent failure, plugin has been corrected to
  reported that it took no action on the request.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.14 and 9.0.0.8.  Please refer to the Recommended
  Updates page for delivery information:
