PI96005: DB2 OBJECT COMPARISON TOOL - CREATE SYNONYM STATEMENT FOR THE VIEW WAS NOT GENERATED

Error description

• Create Synonym for the view was not generated even though the
  view synonym will be dropped by dropping a view which will be
  dropped by dropping a table. In this case, the source and target
  DDL have the table and view synonyms and there are exclude
  specifications for the synonyms on the source and target
  compare.

  *                      not recreated after view is recreated.  *

  *                      are missing in changes file.            *

  *                      'Count Report' of Synonyms aren't       *
  *                      correct.                                *

  Comparing views with synonyms and specifying exclude
  specification for view synonyms on both source and target,
  results in:
  
  - View synonym is implicitly dropped because view is
    dropped/recreated. View synonym should have been
    recreated since YES was specified for option
    'Allow implicit drop of excluded objects ' on panel
    GOC5 - 'Generate Compare Jobs'.
  
  - missing of view synonym change statement in changes
    file.
  
   - Object Compare 'Summary Report' Result column and
    'Count Report' of Synonyms are not correct.
  

Problem conclusion

• Problems have been resolved.
