Error description

If the following is specified in the server's
bootstrap.properties file: com.ibm.ws.zos.core.angelName=""
and the default angel process is started, the server is not
registered to the default angel process.

When custom property com.ibm.ws.zos.core.angelName with a value
of "" (empty string) is set in the server's bootstrap.properties
file, the server does not connect to the default un-named angel
process, even though it is available.

The server server shows the following message:
CWWKB0117W: The  angel process is not available. No authorized
services will be loaded. The reason code is 5.

Problem conclusion

Code was updated to trigger server registration with the default
angel process under the described scenario.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 18.0.0.2.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
