• IBM Tools Base Generic Logger Exit loop causing IMS Control
  Region S0C4 abend during startup.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: On entry of GJEIINT0 IMS registers      *
  *                      are preserved, but the second word of   *
  *                      the save area is not set to x'80', as   *
  *                      it should.                              *
  *                                                              *
  *                      If the exit is iwaited and then posted  *
  *                      on termination, IMS post program        *
  *                      DFSIPOST abends with S0C4 while         *
  *                      looping to find save area with x'80'    *
  *                      in the second word.                     *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Install this PTF to avoid IMS abend          *
  *                 S0C4 on termination.                         *

  On entry of GJEIINT0 IMS registers are preserved, but the
  second word of the save area is not set to x'80', as it should.
  
  If the exit is iwaited and then posted on termination, IMS
  post program DFSIPOST abends with S0C4 while looping to find
  save area with x'80' in the second word.
  

Problem conclusion

• Install this PTF to avoid IMS abend S0C4 on termination.
