* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IMS ETO Support does not handle the     *
*                      *NOGU entry                             *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

Although the *NOGU entry has been created in the IMS ETO Support
TRANSACTION ABEND TABLE, IMS ETO Support does not handle the
routing of messages for transaction ABENDs when the ABEND
occurred prior to a GU call to the IOPCB.

If the Non-Discardable Messages User Exit (IZTNDMXn) provied by
IMS ETO Support is specified as an IMS refreshable exit routine
type, IMS ETO Support does not correctly check whether the
ABENDing application program issued a GU call to the IOPCB.

Problem conclusion

  • IMS ETO Support has been modified to check correctly whether the
ABENDing application program issued a GU call to the IOPCB.
