* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DB2PM / DB2PE batch record trace        *
*                      for IFCID239 may print an incorrect     *
*                      or incomplete value in the PRDID field. *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
****************************************************************
If the product identifier (PRDID) in an IFCID 239 record
contains a two-digit version, the batch record trace report for
IFCID 239 will not include the product release. For example, if
the DDF requester reports itself as Version 11, Release 10,
Modification Level 9, the value printed on the report will be
V11 M9 when V11 R10 M9 is the expected value.

Problem conclusion

  • The IFCID 239 record trace formatting code was changed to
properly format a product ID that contains a two-digit
version number.
