PI94748: DB2 ADMIN TOOL - ALTER OF UDF GENERATES WRONG DDL AND DROPS COMMENT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Changing the name of a UDF parameter using the function "ALT"
  generated wrong DDL by changing some UDF parms and the COMMENT
  on the UDF is missing after execution of the generated job.
  
  The following differences between the original UDF and the UDF
  be generated by Job:
  1. The comment is missing
  2. NO FINAL CALL instead of FINAL CALL
  3. PARAMETER VARCHAR NULTERM instead of PARAMETER VARCHAR
     STRUCTURE

  When attempting to alter an external scalar user defined
  function (UDF) using ALT command, that results in DROP and
  CREATE of the function, its COMMENT is not recreated and
  values for clauses PARAMETER VARCHAR and FINAL CALL are
  generated incorrectly.
