  Device push registration fails for a client that was built
  using the 8.0.2018021609 version of the
  cordova-mfp-push-plugin.  Earlier versions of the plugin, such
  as 8.0.2017082110 do not exhibit this problem.  When the
  registration fails, messages such as the following will appear
  in the client log:
