    1- Issuing line commands ALT, GEN, or DDL from a DB2
    Admin Tool list of objects panel may result in an ABENDOC4,

    with the following panel displayed:

    * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
    * ISPF processor ended abnormally *

    * Note: The ABEND and REASON codes displayed above are *
    * HEXADECIMAL values for "SYSTEM" abends and DECIMAL *
    * values for "USER" abends *
    *                                                           *
    * Enter HELP command for list of common ABEND codes *
    * Press ENTER key for additional DIAGNOSTIC information *
    * Enter END command to display primary option menu *
    *                                                           *
    * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

    Additional Diagnostic Information may also be displayed.
    The dump reveals that the abend occurs in module
    ADBPMSG, ADBALT, ADBTEP2, or ADB2GEN.
    The abend occurs because storage used by multiple
    programs is not managed correctly. The storage is freed
    in one program when another program still needs it.

    Additionally, the MVS link edit statements were changed
    to create smaller load modules.
    2 - When running on DB2 12, panel ADB2 will now show the
    current function level. Infrastructure is also being added
    to let the user know if the current function level is
    supported or tolerated by the product. If that isn't the
    the case a prompt panel will be displayed where
    the user can decide to accept running on a function
    level that isn't supported or tolerated by the
    product. The supported function level is initially
    set to 501 and the tolerated function level to 502.
    The prompt panel allows the user to skip the display
    and panel ADB2P2 contains the function level that has
    been accepted by the user.

    3. Module ADB0 receives SQLCODE -305 / SQLCODEN305 due to
    missing indicator variables. The module sets RC=8 but does
    not produce additional error messages.

    4. Module GOC2CMP was missing a Language Environment
    options setting to better control stack and storage usage.

    The VIRT value in normal situations is below 600K. If the
    VIRT value is greater than 8000K, it is likely caused by
    this problem.
