PI93758: DB2 ADMIN TOOL - ISPF DIALOG ERROR FOR "REPORT REVOKE IMPACTS" FOR "BY ROLE XXXX"

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• "Report revoke impacts" = Yes for an authorization granted
  "BY ROLE xxxx" results in ISPF dialog error:

  Error when using role name R_DB2_SYSADM. When using a
  shorter role name like RSUST error didn't occur.
  
  "Report revoke impacts" = No works fine.
  
  Authorizations granted by auth ID rather than role also works
  fine.

  When using a name longer than thirteen characters on the 'By'
  field on panel ADB2RT, 'Revoke Table Privileges', an ISPF
  Dialog Error panel is displayed containing the error message:
  
    ISPV006
    Data truncation occurred.
    Data for CHAR format variable "RIPBY" was too long.
