Error description

• After executing the following several times, with different key
  values for the second key field below ('bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb'):
  
  ALTER TABLE >schema<.>tablename<
  ALTER PARTITION nn ENDING AT ('aaaa', 'bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb')
  
  DDL or GEN may display:
  
   PARTITION nn ENDING AT ()
  
  and the following messages may appear:
  
  ADB1664E An internal error occurred. Diagnostic
  text=ADB2REG.CREATE_AUX_TABLE(6
  Reason code = 4
  ADB1646E An error has occurred while generating DDL for an
  object.
  

Local fix

• Run a reorg of tablespace.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After a table's partition key values    *
  *                      are altered several times, the output   *
  *                      a GEN/DDL command may show              *
  *                      the changed partitioned key value as    *
  *                      null.                                   *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  For DB2 V11, altering a table's partition key value does
  not take effect immediately. Rather, the altered table status
  is Advisory REORG-pending. If the the partition key value is
  altered several times, the output of GEN/DDL of the table
  may show the altered partition key value as null, and
  the following messages may appear:
  
  ADB1664E An internal error occurred. Diagnostic
  text=ADB2REG.CREATE_AUX_TABLE(6..)
  Reason code = 4
  ADB1646E An error has occurred while generating DDL for an
  object.
