APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When HLOUBKUP is run with a region size that is too small, the
parser code generated by the C++ compiler will take an 0C4
    after a getmain failure.
The 0C4 in the parser is then followed by an 0C4 in HLOGMSGF.
The second 0C4 is the consequence of the backup utility
attempting to print the backup command specified by the user.
Because of the parser failure, the control blocks which contain
the backup command are not built. The end result is a null
pointer passed to the message formatter which causes the
    second 0C4.
