PI93321: DISABLE MLS LOCALIZATION AND REGIONALIZATION WHEN VALID DOCUMENT WITH SAME PATH ALREADY EXIST INSIDE TARGET LIBRARY

Fixes integrated in WebSphere Portal 8.5.0.0 and V9.0 Combined Cumulative Fixes

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When the localization/regionalization action is executed, MLS by
  default will attempt to locate an existing published or expired
  document inside the target library.
  
  
  If a valid document cannot be located, then the action will
  process the current library and create a new link or copy
  depending on the configuration.
  
  
  If a valid published or expired document does exist, then the
  action will attempt to create a draft from the existing item
  instead.
  
  
  To disable the localization/regionalization completely  when a
  valid document with the same path already exist within the
  target library, add either of the following property to the
  relevant configuration document as required.
  localize.ignoreProcessingWhenValidDocumentExist=true
  
  regionalize.ignoreProcessingWhenValidDocumentExist=true

Problem summary

• A code fix for this issue is integrated into the WebSphere
  Portal & WCM Combined Cumulative Fix 16 (PI91150) for Portal 8.5
