APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • You receive an abend AEZC when trying to execute the supplied
DBCTL sample transactions ASMC & ASME. AEZC means that a
transaction has been defined with a TASKDATALOC(ANY), but a
program within the transaction is defined to run AMODE 24. CICS
cannot invoke the AMODE 24 program when the transaction is
running with TASKDATALOC(ANY), as this would cause a protection
    exception, or a storage overwrite.

The programs for these transactions are DFH$DLAC & DFH$DLAE
respectively. The resource definitions were changed to dataloc
of ANY but the actual load modules shipped are linked as 24.
