Error description
After running report and selecting prompt answers, selecting delivery method, send by email, Cognos Viewer remains open allowing user to select different prompt answers and re-running the report again results in report filtering incorrectly based on prompt answers.
Local fix
After sending report by email, close the Viewer from the Switcher to be returned to the folder to rerun the report.
