    thread hang in the WLM RuleEtiquette.registerNotificationType.

Problem conclusion

  • This problem in the WebSphere distributed WLM component is
    resolved by removing an unnecessary sleep in WLM
    RuleEtiquette.registerNotificationType
    which under certain rare conditions can cause thread hangs.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.5.5.14 and 9.0.0.8.  Please refer to the Recommended
