  • Cannot determine the original failure of the Application
    deployment because the files are overwritten.

    The app deploy command will retry app deployment if the first
    deploy fails with additional parameters to see if that will
    succeed.  If the second deploy also fails, we cannot determine
    the initial failure as the log and trace file were over
    written.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Rename the initial log and trace, so that they are not over
    written by retrying the app deployment.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 9.0.0.7.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
