PI92148: CICS PA PERFORMANCE EXTRACT FILE PRODUCES INCORRECT FLOATING POINT FIELD VALUES FOR SOME FIELDS

Error description

• You produce a CICS Performance Analyzer "Performance Summary
  Extract" file and use the FLOAT option to produce floating
  point fields. In some cases those fields contain incorrect
  floating point values. For example,

  .
  will produce a valid floating point field in the extract file,
  but
  .
    DISPATCH(COUNT(AVE))
  .
  will produce an invalid floating point value.

  CMF clock (type-S) fields contains 2 components, Timer component
  and Count component. You can specify either TIME or COUNT format
  type for clock fields when using CICS PA Forms. The Summary
  Extract type S field Count component has incorrect floating
  point values when the FLOAT option is specified.
  

Problem conclusion

• The APAR provides the fixes to make sure the floating point
  value for CMF "S" type COUNT field is now correctly set in the
  Summary Extract.
