PI91845: UPDATE FORM LAYOUT ENDS WITH AN ERROR: "EXCEPTION FROM HRESULT: 0X800A01A8".

Error description

• Go to Structure of the form, in the column definition, they
  change in Period field from 1712 to 1711 ( or delete the last
  line of column definition, or any change made to it), they Save
  the change.
  After they Save the change made in column definition, open the
  form in Excel, and they update the layout - an error appears:
  "Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A01A8".
  If you try to Process the Layout: "The form XYZ has an
  inconsistent layout but it still valid to process".
  
  If you just click Create Layout, the layout is re-generated and
  the updates come up OK in the form.
