Error description

  • When attempting to export a codelist from the IBM Transformation
Extender Advanced User Interface an Out of Memory error is
observed.

A javacore file contains an error similar to:
Dump Event "systhrow" (00040000) Detail
"java/lang/OutOfMemoryError" received

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
Customer's exporting large code lists.
Problem Description:
Exporting large code lists may experience an OutOfMemory
exception.
Platforms Affected:
All

Problem conclusion

  • Resolution Summary:
Reduced the amount of memory being used to perform the export.
The customer should also make sure their JVM has enough memory
(-Xmx option).
