APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Tasks in several CICS regions hung after LLA abended. LLA was
restarted but these tasks remained hung forever. Some of these
regions issued message:

DFHLD0001 0D5/AKEX at offset X'FFFF' in module DFHLDLD1
.
A dump shows tasks hung in various PROGRAM and LMQUEUE suspends.
After the LLA abend, the library lock was not freed.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend 0D5 in DFHLDLD1 leaves the        *
*                      library element lock held.              *
****************************************************************
An abend 0D5 occurs in DFHLDLD1. The exclusive library element
lock is held when the abend happens. DFHLDLD1's recovery
routine is driven but this does not have any code to free the
exclusive library element lock. Tasks requiring this lock hang.
