PI91444: ALAA440E AFTER DB2 SORT FAILURE DURING ROW MOVEMENT PROCESSING

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• An ALAA440E message accompanied with a U=55 abend can occur when
  using 1 Phase mode if DB2 Sort issues an ABEND or non-zero
  return code during Row Movement processing. This occurs because
  the module was not handling the abnormal return. After this fix
  is applied, an ALAA352E message will be issued and the job will
  shutdown normally when an abnormal condition occurs in DB2 Sort.
