PI91275: ADD INFORMATIONAL MESSAGE TO LIBERTY LOGS TO INDICATE WHICH ANGEL PROCESS IS USED

Error description

A message will come out in the liberty logs saying which
angel
process is used if the server isn't able to connect to it
(CWWKB0117W).  But there isn't a message that comes out when
the server is able to connect to the angel process.  This
message could help aid diagnostics in an environment where
there are multiple angel processes running.

*                      looking at messages.log.                *

In an environment where multiple angel processes exist, it can
be difficult to tell which angel process a server has connected
to.  It would be useful to display this information in the
server's log.  The server displayed the angel name in the log
when it has a problem connecting, but not when it successfully
connects.

Problem conclusion

A new message, CWWKB0122I, is issued when the server connects to
an angel process.  The angel name is included in the message.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 18.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
