  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR fixes the following           *
  *                      problems of IMS HP Image Copy when      *
  *                      using IMS Tools Online System Interface *
  *                      ( TOSI ) of IBM Tools Base:             *
  *                      - After applying PTF UI50677 to TOSI in *
  *                        IBM Tools Base V1.5 ( FMID=HAHN150 ), *
  *                        IMS HP Image Copy terminates with     *
  *                        ABEND S0C4 ( ABEND0C4 ) at offset     *
  *                        X'00002484' in module: FOICMAP0 when  *
  *                        TOSI issues IMS command( TOIAUTO=Y ). *
  *                      - IMS HP Image Copy terminates with     *
  *                        ABEND S047 ( ABEND047 )  when the     *
  *                        following conditions are met:         *
  *                        - The Advanced Image Copy Services    *
  *                          uses EMC TimeFinder                 *
  *                          ( DATA_MOVER=EMCSNAP ).             *
  *                        - TOSI issues IMS Type 2 command      *
  *                          (TOIAUTO_Q=Y)                       *
  *                        - The Image Copy function runs the    *
  *                          processes in parallel.              *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  This APAR fixes the following 2 problems of IMS HP Image Copy
  when using IMS Tools Online System Interface ( TOSI ) of IBM
  Tools Base:
  - After applying PTF UI50677 to TOSI in IBM Tools Base V1.5
    (FMID=HAHN150), IMS HP Image Copy terminates with ABEND S0C4
    ( ABEND0C4 ) at offset X'00002484' in module: FOICMAP0 TOSI
    issues IMS command ( TOIAUTO=Y ).
  
    The cause of this trouble is the discrepancy of the request
    block size between IMS HP Image Copy and TOSI.
    IMS HP Image Copy uses old version and request block length is
    shorter than TOSI expects.
    In the problem case, one of request block storage in IMS HP
    Image Copy is obtained just before page boundary, and TOSI try
    to refer the storage beyond the boundary.  After applying PTF
    UI50677, TOSI defines a new field there and refers it.
    As a result, IMS HP Image Copy terminates with ABEND S0C4.
  
  - IMS HP Image Copy terminates with ABEND S047 ( ABEND047 )
    when the following conditions are met:
    - The Advanced Image Copy Services uses EMC TimeFinder
     ( DATA_MOVER=EMCSNAP ).
    - TOSI issues IMS Type 2 command (TOIAUTO_Q=Y)
    - The Image Copy function runs the processes in parallel.
  
    The cause of problem is that IMS Image Copy does not
    synchronize APF handling between TOSI and the Advanced Image
    Copy Services which uses EMC TimeFinder.
    In this problem case, IMS HP Image Copy runs as unauthorized
    program when it issues SVC instruction.
    As a result, IMS HP Image Copy terminates with ABEND S047.
  

Problem conclusion

• By this APAR, IMS HP Image Copy has been modified as follows:
  - The modules that use TOSI API have been rebuilt with the
    latest TOSI macro.
  - Advanced Image Copy Services which uses EMC TimeFinder and IMS
    command process which uses TOSI have been serialized by using
    same ENQ/DEQ name.
