PI90839: REPORTING OF OUTPUT LOCAL (OUTPUTL) TIME MAY BE INCORRECT IN SOME CIRCUMSTANCES

Error description

• In a Front-End MSC environment the Output Local (OUTPUTL) time
  may be incorrectly calculated. When calculating OUTPUTL the
  enqueue time of the local Output Message is taken from the
  QLNQDTTM field of the IMS x'35' record, however, when the
  QLNQFTIM flag is on this timestamp is the same as the type x'01'
  Input Message. Using this timestamp results in the calculation
  of an invalid OUTPUTL value.

Problem conclusion

• When calculating OUTPUTL, if the QLNQFTIM flag is on in the
  IMS x'35' output Message the QLNQDTTM value is ignored, the
  timestamp value used is the time the record was written to
  the IMS log.
