Error description

  • This APAR addresses two issues:
    1. Abend U4038 while setting some symbols in Lock table:
    Assert message:
EDC6006E The raise() function was issued for the signal SIGABRT.
From entry point std::terminate() at compile unit
offset +000000E8 at entry offset +000000E8 at address
    0F7235C8.
User abend U4038 dec occurred processing command 'ETI2MAIN'.
    2. Wildcard '*' is added to 'Creator Like' and 'Table Like'
fields on panel ETI$MAIN after hitting enter. For example:
    Populate fields as follows:
    Creator like . . SYSIBM
    Name like . . . SYSTABLES
After pressing enter both fields show up with asterisks:
    Creator like . . SYSIBM*
    Tables like . . SYSTABLES*
Note: With this APAR applied, once one executes the LIKE
command (to switch the filter criteria to use the like option),
the asterisks will no longer appear.
