APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When message validation is performed on OSNs, validation errors
may occur on MT199 messages, which were received from the SWIFT
GPI tracker system.
The validation error also occurs in MER, when the Messages are
error routed to an MER queue for correction, and end up as
DNIUNPARSABLE in a MER error queue.

The validation errors shown are similiar to the following:
DNIY0052E: element
'/FinMessage/Block4/Document/MT199/F79a/F79/Narrative/Line[2]'
characters '3' to '6' must be a code word

Problem summary


    

  • When message validation is performed on OSNs, validation errors

Problem conclusion


    

  • For SR2018, SWIFT gpi OSN messages (gCCT, gCOV, gSRP) are not
validated according to the supplementary SWIFT gpi validation
rules.
