APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When it is run against a datasharing group, although DB2 HPU
correctly displays the DB2 version via the INZI020I message, it
actually handles a wrong DB2 version which leads to subsequent
issues whenever DB2 HPU internal features or the user unload
    involve DB2 version dependent processing.

Local fix

  • run the unload aganst a member of the datasharing group.

    * An ABENDU1013 can occur when unloading a table having an *

    * HPU supports to generate a list of objects - 'LISTDEF *
    * listname INCLUDE TABLESPACES TABLE owner.tbname' - that is *
    * later used in the UNLOAD. *
    * But, there is no support to generate a list for DB2 views *
    * using LISTDEF.                                               *

Problem conclusion

  • Code has been changed to fix this problem

Temporary fix

  • PI89113:
The concerned table can be unloaded by explicitly specifying it
in the FROM clause of the SELECT statement.

    PI90666:
Run the unload aganst a member of the datasharing group.

    PI91110:
Consider using the more flexble SELMSG feature instead. By
specifying SELMSG HPUPRINT, you can get INZX090 messages in the
HPUPRINT data set. These messages give the same information as
INZCI0559 with a different format. The INZX090 is formatted as
    follows:
      INZX090 n RECORDS WRITTEN [IN hh:mm:ss][,INTERVAL hh:mm:ss],
    UNLOAD DONE.

while INZCI0559 is formatted as follows:
      INZCI0559 DDNAME : ddname ROWS : number

    PI92093:
Use the SQL mode by specifying DB2 FORCE.
