Error description
a UNION of two queries results in "duplicate definition" error when the names of the columns of the queries being union-ed are longer than a certain number of characters. The generated SQL allocates a "Cx" label in the subqueries, then uses the same label in the union projection list which causes Teradata to raise an error.
