Error description

  • 1) Expected behavior:
    Opening the License Manager dialog won't crash AppScan 9.0.3.7
    2) Observed behavior:
    Opening the License Manager dialog crashes AppScan 9.0.3.7
    3) Workarounds (if applicable):
    No workaround for the crash itself but in case he wants to
    config a different license he can do one of the two:
    
    1) Force AppScan to use LKAD license configuration:
    The user needs to create a DWORD with the name "ForceLkadUse"
    and the value 1 in
    "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\IBM\AppScan
    Standard\License\" (assuming he has 64 bit windows).
    
    Notes:
    - LKAD MUST have a license configured or AppScan will fail (LKAD
    can't have empty license configuration).
    - In the AppScan UI the button will still open the
    LicenseManager and not LKAD, so the user will have to open LKAD
    from windows shortcut.
    
    
    2) Change AppScan License Manager registry directly:
    The user can change the value of
    "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\IBM\AppScan
    Standard\License\RclLicensePath" (assuming he has 64 bit
    windows) and it will affect AppScan license configuration.
    
    The format of this value is:
    "<license_servers_list>;<node_locked_files_list>;"
    Where:
    "<license_servers_list>"="<port1@server_host1>;<port2@server_hos
    t2>;" and so on.
    "<node_locked_files_list>"="<node_locked_filepath1>;<node_locked
    _filepath2>;" and so on.
    
    Example value of "RclLicensePath":
    "D:\Appscan_license.upd;27000@bella;27000@blaster;"
    
    4) Reproduction Steps:
    Click on the "Open AppScan License Manager"
