Error description
Tape dynamic allocation requests fail in ATAM environments if the DYNAL parameter list does not consider offline devices. The ATAM MDP feature offers detection and optional modification of such DYNAL parameter lists so that they do consider offline devices. The ATAM feature does not allow this function for started tasks because of concerns about introducing unexpected WAIT's.
