PI90106: MIGRATE OF LARGE NUMBER OF TABLES IN TABLESPACE RESULTS IN "LOAD STATEMENT TOO LONG" AND RETURN CODE 1000

Error description

• Migrate of a tablespace containing a large (>1000) number of
  tables may encounter the following error during the conversion
  of the LOAD TABLE statements:
         LOAD statement too long
  (>2MB)
  With this APAR applied, the load statement conversion progam
  can process LOAD statements for more than 3000 tables in a
  single tablespace.

Problem summary

  *                 tablespace containing a large number         *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The load statement conversion           *
  *                      program (ADB28MC) fails with            *
  *                      return code 1000 because                *
  *                      the load statement is larger than       *
  *                      2MB.                                    *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  ADB28MC fails with return code 1000 if the
  load statement generated by the DB2 UNLOAD
  utility is larger than 2 MB. That causes the
  Migrate job to terminate with the following
  error:
  
        LOAD statement too long (>2MB)
  
  With this fix applied, ADB28MC can process LOAD
  statements for more than 3000 tables in a single
  tablespace.
