Error description

  • This APAR fixes a problem that IMS command authorization
    checking is not effective on TOSI when one of the following
    conditions has been met.
        IMS DBCTL is used.
        RCF=T or RCF=N is configured in DFSPBxxx member.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IMS Tools Online System in      *
    *                 IBM Tools Base V1.5 (FMID=HAHN150).          *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IMS command authorization checking      *
    *                      isn't effective for TOSI requests even  *
    *                      if RACFCHK=YES parameter is configured  *
    *                      properly.                               *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
    ****************************************************************
    TOSI should check whether a caller job have sufficient
    authority to run IMS commands when RACFCHK=YES is configured.
    However, it isn't effective properly when one of the following
    conditions is met.
    - Using IMS DBCTL.
    - RCF=T or RCF=N is specified in DFSPBxxx member.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The following TOSI server modules have been modified to fix the
    above problem:
    - FOIITK0A, FOIITK0B, FOIITK0C, FOIITK0D, FOIITK0E, FOIITK09
