APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • With the application of newer maintenance, as a result the OCL
Force command is not working properly.

The sysin is simple like:
-
//EQQOCL.SYSIN    DD *
 FORCE APPL(ADHOCREM) OP(05)
-
after apply of the mentioned PTFs now the force ended up RC08

Local fix

  • USERMOD created and tested - awaiting official APAR and PTF

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
* USERS AFFECTED: All IWS for z/OS 930 users running the OCL   *
*                 FORCE command.                               *
*                 FUNCTION=OCL                                 *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: FORCE APPL command in OCL ends with     *
*                      RC=8                                    *
****************************************************************
After newer maintenance application the OCL FORCE command is
ending with RC=8.

Problem conclusion

  • A check has been changed to let FORCE be correctly handled as
"PIF-batch" command.
