Error description

If Addnode is done on a generic node, and the web server
definition is created from the WebSphere iSeries Adminconsole,
then an invalid path is defined for property "PluginInstallRoot"
Value="/QIBM/ProdData/WebSphere/Plugins/V80/webserver/"

Problem encountered on WebSphere for iSeries version 8.5.5.11
and 8.5.5.12
iSeries AS/400 version 7.1.0

Local fix

To use the same Node.webserverName

1) From the WebSphere Admin console, delete any existing web
server definition
2) Recreate a new web server definition
3) Remove any incorrect paths shown and input the correct Web
server and PluginInstallRoot paths
4) Regenerate a new plugin-cfg.xml
5) Propagate the Plug-in.  Propagate is not necessary if the
Apache httpd.conf file on the web server has the plugin-cfg.xml
path that directly points to the plugin-cfg.xml file generated
at the cell/node level in the WebSphere application server.

Problem conclusion

The plugin generation code has been corrected to produce the
correct default paths for iSeries and z/OS.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 9.0.0.7 8.5.5.14.  Please refer to the Recommended
