Error description

  • When adjusting the system date 100 years into the future a
    ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException is thrown in HttpDate.setTime()

    Setting a future date in a response using the
    HttpServletResponse.setDateHeader() method might cause an
    ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException to be thrown when the date is
    far in the future.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The WebContainer code has been modified to avoid the
    ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException and set the date header
    correctly.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fixpacks 8.5.5.14 and 9.0.0.8. Please refer to the recommended
