Error description

  • Problem Description:
    When deploying large ear file, after clicking on Finish button,
    it takes about 30 seconds or longer pause without clock icon,
    which causes confusion and if click Finish button again, it
    attempts to deploy again(at least EJBdeploy part) causes
    resource constraint issue on the Operating System

    The administrative console does not clearly indicate that the
    application is being installed when the Finish button is
    clicked.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The Please Wait icon is now displayed on the administrative
    console when the user clicks the Finish button when installing
    an application.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.5.5.13, 9.0.0.6.  Please refer to the Recommended
