Error description

  IBM Developer for z Systems - IDz - v14
  
  When we ask a 'Rebuild project or subproject', RDz/IDz always
  wrongly generates the "ADATA,EX(ELAXHASM)" option.
  
  Re-creation steps:
  
  1 - create an ASM project,
  2 - add a subproject
  3 - add 2 programs, say CICSASM.asm and ECDASM.asm
  4 - define 2 property groups: CICSP_ASM and ECD_CICS_ASM
  5 - for CICSP_ASM property group, call ELAXFAST procedure which
  includes 2 steps: CICSP (CICS preprocessor) and ASM. Support
  Error Feedback never selected.
  6 - assign CICSP_ASM property group to CICSASM.asm
  7 - for ECD_CICS_ASM property group, call ELAXAECD procedure
  which includes 2 steps: AECD (precompiler) and CICSP (CICS
  preprocessor). Support Error Feedback never selected.
  8 - assign ECD_CICS_ASM property group to ECDASM.asm
  9 - right click on CICSASM.asm, select 'Generate JCL'>
  'Compile Link'  ==> generated JCL does not contain support error
  feedback parameter which is fine.
  10 - right click on ECDASM.asm, select 'Generate JCL'>
  'Compile Link' ==> generated JCL does not contain support error
  feedback parameter which is fine as well.
  11 - Right click on the subproject and select 'Rebuild
  subproject'
  ==> each procedure contains the support error feedback parameter
  
  "PARM.ECD=('ADATA','EX(ADX(ELAXHASM))')" which is not supported
  by all steps (abend).
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• RDz/IDz always wrongly generates the "ADATA,EX(ELAXHASM)"
  option, regardless of the "Support error feedback" setting in
  the property group.
  

Problem conclusion

• The property group checkbox "Support error feedback" will honor
  generating "ADATA,EX(ELAXHASM)", instead of automatically adding
   that option. Furthermore, a new subproject property (under the
  Build tab) has been added to override the property group
  selection, if checked, which it is by default.
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V9.5.1.7 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
