Problem summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A java.lang.OutOfMemoryError could be   *
*                      thrown when JavaServer Pages files are  *
*                      requested.                              *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
If a web module contains JSP files, a java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
could be thrown if the JSP pages are requested a high number of
times while the server is running. The error could happen with a
single JSP page if it's requested enough times that the
allocated memory is insufficient to store the internal metadata
of this JSP page. Note that the size of the JSP itself is
irrelevant for this OutOfMemoryError.

Problem conclusion

The JSP engine was modified to create a single metadata object
per JSP page instead of creating a metadata object on each JSP
page request.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
packs 9.0.0.8 and 17.0.0.4.  Please refer to the Recommended
