Error description

  • Running a WSL that references CREATE VARIABLE produces the
following error message when WSLOPT "Backup DDL"=YES is used:

ADB2W1: setBackupDDLVars: Unrecognized type: VARIABLE

Local fix

  • 1. Navigate to WSL panel ADB2W1 and enter on the Command line:
WSLOPT
2. On panel ADBPWLO 'Work Statement List Options', set the
following option to "NO"":
Backup DDL . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . NO
