APAR status

  • Closed as new function.

Error description

  • During QCF UNLOAD, active destination(s) are stopped by QCF
through the issuing of IMS /STO commands. Customers may not want
active destination(s) to be stopped so this APAR will provide
a new QCF keyword for the TOIPARMS statement to allow users
to enable or disable the issuing of IMS stop commands.

Temporary fix

Comments

  • Install the APAR to receive the enhancement done to the TOIPARMS
statement which allows the user to specify the ENABLESTOP
keyword (to allow QCF to continue to issue IMS /STO commands) or
the DISABLESTOP keyword (to disable QCF from issuing IMS /STO
commands) against active destination(s) during a QCF UNLOAD job.
