Users of PE ISPF OLM may notice MSGFPEU0101S messages in the
PE server log due to ABEND0C4(s) occurring in FPEUDFUDA. This
may happen when a monitored thread's executing package is bound
with a long Unicode collection name.  The attempt to save the
long Unicode collection name fails because no memory was
allocated to hold the name.

Problem conclusion

  • The code was changed to ensure that space is allocated for
long collection names before its use.
