    ****************************************************************
This APAR fixes the following 2 problems of IMS HP Image Copy
that runs with IMS Database Recovery Facility of IMS Database
    Recovery Solution Pack:
    - RLSE option of SPACE parameter for image copy data set does
      not work.

IMS HP Image Copy uses REUSE option of DYNALLOC macro.
RLSE option of SPACE parameter does not work when REUSE option
      of DYNALLOC is used.
REUSE option can use data set that has been allocated newly in
another address space. But image copy data sets are always
allocated in the single address space in IMS Database Recovery
Facility. Its option should not be used.

    - Processed number of database data sets and areas are smaller
      than IMS Database Recovery Facility.

IMS HP Image Copy defines DD names for image copy data sets
in a JOB in the master address space, and naming of DD name
could not handles as many as ones that IMS Database Recovery
      Facility handles.

Problem conclusion

  • By this APAR, IMS HP Image Copy has been modified as follows:
    - IMS HP Image Copy does not use REUSE option of DYSNLLOC macro
when it works in IMS DB Recovery Solution Facility.
    - IMS HP Image Copy uses DD names for image copy data set
in the different address spaces independently.
